I have two dogs that do their share of shedding, this vac does a great job of getting their hair off the couch. The Hepa filter can be cleaned and reused--be sure to do it outside. I just knock it against something solid out in the yard to remove the dust, and then vacuum it with my garage duty shop vac. Good as new--no filters to buy. I also plan to use the wet purpose of it when I clean the grout in my kitchen tile. With the suction this thing has I have no concerns over the wet pick-up. It rolls through the house with ease on my new flooring, the rounded corners of the wheel wells bump off the baseboard doing no damage.
